Review of minutes from previous meeting

Minutes were approved without comment.

Discussion

The Board discussed the following items. (Action items are noted below.)

Financial report from Mike. We currently have approximately $6,000 in our account.
We need to purchase some additional food items, such as peanut butter and pasta sauce.
Discussions regarding upcoming delivery schedules.
We are currently supporting up to 10 families (varies from week to week). We may need to spend cash to support additional families.
Erin obtained a Board of Health certificate for our food storage area at 1010 Main Street.
Initial discussion regarding Halloween party and fund-raiser. Tentatively scheduled for Friday, October 23, 2009, at West Boylston American Legion Post #204.

The board approved the by-laws.

Send note to Karen Halley of the Wachusett Food Pantry regarding participating in Holden Days with us.	Karl	June meeting	Food Pantry also has a booth at Holden Days. They would like to work with us on a presentation or activity.

Next Meeting

The next meeting will be held on June 11, 2009, at 6PM at 53 Raymond Street. We do not plan to have a meeting in July, but will discuss issues as they come up via email.
