Review of minutes from previous meeting
Mnutes were approved without comment.
Discussion
The Board discussed the following items.
- We need some clothing for some of our famiies, 2nd grade through high
school.
- Food inventories are at capacity. We need more pancake mix and jelly.
Request to use up condiments and to include breads and fresh produce with
all deliveries.
- Surplus bread is going to Mustard Seed.
- Giving tree at St. Mary's had nearly 50 ornaments unclaimed, including
some for Project families. Meg will pick up remaining ornaments and make
available to Project team. (Update: later emails resulted in all ornaments
claimed.)
- Current balance is $7400.
- We have received several donations from individuals and groups. Mike and
Rich to send thank-you notes.
- We have a donated Christmas tree (artificial) for any family who could
use one.
- Erin will renew Board of Health certificate and will inquire about
requirements for having a freezer and/or refrigerator.
- Discussion of 2010 goals - Karl presented outline of training program for
new volunteers. Tentative plan to have training session in Febuary (school
vacation week). Karl to provide updated training plan for January
meeting.
- Update mission statement on web site and elsewhere to remove reference to
Hakkarainen General Contracting.
- Lynn to prepare a sheet that identifies menu and dietary needs for each
family along with weekly delivery schedules.

Next Meeting
