The Wachusett Area Rotary Club donated $500 to Joseph's Project for the purchase of a freezer. Mike will send a letter of thanks to the Rotary.
The Board received and accepted the resignation of Colleen Adams as treasurer. Erin Beardsley, currently the assistant treasurer, will assume the Treasurer's responsibilities.
Lynn has a new client with particular dietary needs, including a need for ready-made meals. Lynn will discuss these requiremens with Steve and coordinate shopping efforts.
Mike reports that the Knights of Columbus are eager to assist Joseph's Project. The Board discussed various ways that the Knights could help, including fund-raising and food collection. Mike will speak with the Knights on April 13.
Karl will find out if Sam's Club offers a debit or credit card with the business membership, allowing charges to go directly to the Project's bank account. This will make it easier to shop at the club without the need for the shopper to be reimbursed for expenses.
Rich reported that the Holden postmaster will allow us to use the water and parking lot at the post office for a car wash this spring.
The Joseph's Project Board of Directors will hold elections for officer positions at its May 12, 2010 meeting. Each officer serves for a term of two years.
